Brisbane Year 12 Grad Trip Tangalooma Island Resort 2021

Please note due to the COVID19 Pandemic, this event is subject to government restrictions and any directions provided by the operators of Tangalooma. Anyone who is sick or has flu-like symptoms on the morning of the event will not be permitted to attend and must stay home. Please do not put anyone at risk by deciding to attend the event when your are sick or have any flu-like symptoms.
CLASS OF 2021
Hey Class of 2021! We are excited to announce that we are holding a Year 12 Grad Trip to Tangalooma Island Resort on Moreton Island.
With so much that has happened this year and last, we hope this event will provide you with an opportunity to relax and enjoy your amazing achievements in school and seminary. You've survived and thrived through 13 years of school and 4 years of Seminary.
We know the trip to Tangalooma Resort was cancelled last year due to the pandemic, but with the further easing of restrictions, we wanted to provide you with something that will help celebrate this milestone with your friends and other fellow Grads.
Monday 22nd November 8am - Thursday 25th November 5pm
NOTE: Drop off will be 8am at the Ferry Terminal 220 Holt Street, Pikenba on the Monday. Pick up will be approx 5pm at the same location on the Thursday. You must provide your own transport to and from the ferry terminal.
Registrations open: Saturday, 1st May 2021
Registrations close: Sunday, 17th October 2021
Payments and permission forms due: Sunday, 7th November 2021

You can pay the full fee or use the payment plan system with credit card on this site OR through the paper tithing slip to your Bishop or Branch President.
When using the tithing slip please ensure the payment is recorded in the "Other" column indicating the payment is for "Grad Trip 2021". NOTE: You cannot make payment for Grad Trip through the Church Online Donation system or by credit card. Should you require any assistance or if you are having problems making payment, please contact the Grad Trip Committee at email@example.com, and we will assist you.
Please ensure you are not only dressed for the occassion, but keep in mind your For the Strength of Youth Standards and ensure you are dressed appropriately.
You will need to provide your own transport to and from the event. Check with your Stake Chaperone couple for carpooling.
BISHOP OR BRANCH PRESIDENT APPROVAL AND PARENTAL TANGATOURS WAIVER FORM
You must arrange to have an interview with your Bishop or Branch President before the due date of Sunday, 7 November 2021.
Your parents must also sign the Tangatours Waiver form and return via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. This is so you can access all the resort equipment. We will email a copy to all those who register.

♦What do I bring on the first day?
Bring a day backpack with swimmers, towel and water bottle so you can swim until room check in.
♦Can I bring a non member friend?
Yes! They will need to meet with your Bishop or Branch President to ensure they understand the standards of the trip.
♦I was supposed to graduate this year but left school early, can I still attend the trip?
♦Can I bring my own snacks?
Yes! You can include it in your luggage. There is a convenience store at the resort in case you forget your toothbrush. Otherwise no additional money is needed.
♦Do I need to bring my own water?
No. The resort has filtered water stations throughout. The room taps also are filtered water. We would recommend bringing a water bottle.
♦How many suitcases can I bring?
Only 1. You can have a small carry on bag if needed.
